Escape to Padelaise is the perfect fusion of recreational padel and the soul of Colombian coffee culture. We completely move away from the rigidity and pressure of a typical tournament to transform the sport into a wellness and cultural immersion experience, based at exclusive boutique farms in the Coffee Region.

Here, days are designed at your own pace: combining training and friendly matches on the court with tastings of single-origin coffee and cocoa, dreamlike landscapes, and mornings of absolute serenity.

This program is designed exclusively for beginner and intermediate players from around the world who are looking for more than just a typical vacation: small groups, flexible itineraries, and an unforgettable getaway away from home. No prior experience is necessary; just your sneakers and a thirst for discovery.

What is Escape to Padelaise?

It is a unique experience that we host in Colombia's coffee region, Quindío (capital city Armenia), combining recreational padel with coffee and cacao culture. It's an escape far from noise, pollution, and mass tourism, all immersed in a bucolic beauty that conveys a deep sense of peace and tranquility.

Our program level is suited for beginners and intermediate players; each player sets their own pace, and our goal is for participants to have fun without any pressure. Our coaches are certified by the Colombian Padel Federation. It is also an ideal option for high-performance players accompanied by their own coaches for intensive training — away from distractions, with nearly unlimited practice hours, good courts, fresh air, very healthy local food, and a focus solely on competitive padel.
Each tour is a two-hour walk, held on different days, through the plantations as private tours; you'll see the different stages of production, enjoy a coffee tasting, and get to make your own chocolate bars, learning from local master roasters and baristas.
This knowledge and experience will stay with you every time you drink a coffee or savor a chocolate.
You'll also be able to purchase export-quality products made on the farms we'll visit. The walks are not strenuous.
Clothing should be suited for warm weather, though typical tropical rain does occur; comfortable shoes for padel and walking, and a swimsuit. Sunscreen, mosquito repellent, and a cap are essential. We recommend having travel insurance.
The airports that connect to our program are Matecaña (Pereira) and Edén (Armenia). Depending on your point of departure, we'll advise you on the most convenient option
We partner with boutique hotels in the coffee region, chosen for their quality, tranquility, and location. The specific hotel selected will depend on the dates and group size. All are comfortable, feature local architecture, a pool, and massage service (not included), and above all are very peaceful. Breakfasts are served at the hotel, lunches at local restaurants, and dinner at the hotel. We promote local products; due to its topography and tropical climate, Colombia is the country with the greatest variety of fruit in the world. We do not offer alcohol, as we want guests to enjoy a few days of relaxation/detox, although it can certainly be purchased. Anyone with allergies or a particular diet should notify us before traveling.
It is a colorful colonial town, the heart of the Coffee Cultural Landscape. In Salento you can buy single-origin coffee, wooden crafts, woven bags, and the traditional Colombian hat. Most businesses accept international cards.
It is also known for trout farming, a dish we'll get to enjoy during the visit.
Of course. Padel is a highly social sport. If you travel alone, our team will pair you with players of a similar skill level for matches and clinics, ensuring plenty of playing time. In addition, the experiences in the coffee region are unique, and each traveler experiences them in their own personal way.
